Neptune actually runs two showrooms at Frankland Road, Blagrove (SN5 8YG) — the main Swindon Neptune plus a separate Outlet just down the way. The Outlet is the interesting one: ex-display pieces, end-of-line ranges and discontinued fabrics at twenty-to-fifty-percent off the main showroom prices. Same coordinated room-sets, same dangerous decorating envy, just with a sticker on it. Worth the M4 trip from Bristol or Reading just for the Outlet alone. Midweek mornings are best; weekends get busy with the bargain hunters. Easy parking, properly arranged stock, staff who know what's coming in next.

Swindon's 10 sofa showrooms cluster mostly around the western retail belt, where Wootton Bassett Road, Telford Way and Mannington Retail Park form a workable showroom corridor. DFS and Sofology sit on Wootton Bassett Road at SN5 8WF, Nick Scali at 2a Telford Way (SN5 8WA) and Oak Furnitureland share Mannington Retail Park at the same SN5 8WA postcode, and Dunelm holds the Orbital Retail Park at SN5 7DL. With 3 budget showrooms, 2 mid, 3 mid-to-high and 2 high-end, the price spread genuinely covers everything from family practical to country-house premium — rare for a town this size. Practical bits: the Orbital Shopping Park and Great Western Way are dead easy off the M4 J16, parking is free everywhere, and Swindon's roundabout reputation is mostly fine outside rush hour despite what the urban legends suggest. Combine the Neptune Outlet trip with the Designer Outlet Village and you've got a proper retail expedition on your hands. The outlet pull is the secret weapon — most cities this size don't have a luxury-discount option, and Swindon does. Magic Roundabout aside, this is a properly clever sofa-shopping town.
