Selly Oak Retail Park sits handily near the university student-flat catchment, useful for the rental-furnishing crowd, with a small but functional sofa floor. Stechford on Flaxley Parkway is the proper Brummie east-side option, slightly bigger sofa range and easier parking. Neither is the destination for a serious frame-comparison shop, but both work for the under-£1,000 bracket or a top-up trip when you've already bought the main piece elsewhere.
